Silent Valley Consulting – open for business

Life sciences marketing consulting for technical writing, content marketing, strategy and market research

Several years ago during the publishing of the book about COVID-19 diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines (“Chaos to Cure”), I registered a business with the state of Maryland called Silent Valley Incorporated. Recently with a change in my work situation at Olink (here’s the announcement a few weeks ago over LinkedIn) I went ahead and made myself available for consulting.

The website went live last week, Silent Valley Consulting is open for business, and already the website has generated several contacts and appointments directly through the website. My family has noticed that I’m as busy as ever, which is a good thing!

It was about 11 years ago I started blogging here at The Next Generation Technologist, and that effort has so paid off over the years. Most recently, being very familiar with ‘WordPress Builders’ when constructing a new site for the book a few years ago, I evaluated tools with names like Elementor, Divi, Oxygen and Beaver Builder. I declined to use any of them, as they seemed expensive (at that time), being a yearly subscription model. I simply purchased a book-related theme and www.daleyuzuki.com was done pretty quickly.

This time around I decided to make the business site something I could change and update (and look snazzy) quickly, and discovered something recently developed by the developers of Oxygen called Breakdance, and was amazed how easily I could put a professional site together.

So Silent Valley Consulting is now open for business: solving life science content marketing, technical writing, and marketing strategy problems. I’m happy to report that after only two weeks, business is going very well, and am in the midst of figuring out how to take advantage of all that a solopreneur company offers, in addition to all the tax and accounting details that need attention.

If you know someone who needs help (or need help yourself) feel free to check out the marketing consulting site, and can message me directly or even book an appointment directly. Hope to hear from you soon!
